Alpine terrain. The supreme discipline for sure-footed, persevering mountain hikers. The highlight for hikers is once again this year the "40er" classic, the long distance of the Koasamarsch. 33 km. 1,730 metres of altitude. A gigantic panoramic view is waiting for you along the high-alpine trail to the Stripsenjochhaus. Less demanding but no less scenic is the “20er” mountain hike. On the hiking route of 21.1 km, 1,000 meters of altitude have to be conquered. If you want to take things at a more leisurely pace, the two valley hikes with 12 or 5km along the foot of the Kaiser.
Challenging. Enjoyable. Scenic. THE train running event through the Kaiser mountains over a marathon distance, with slow but awesome 44 kilometres and 2,100 metres of altitude on offer. Back to the roots on the KOASA-Classic-Run. The legendary “40er” Classic leads over 33km and 1,730 demanding metres of altitude and just like the hikers, over the beautiful high-alpine trail through the Kaiser mountains. This route is ideal for all who are undecided between the Marathon and Half Marathon. The KOASA Hell of a Run is contested over 20km, just under a half marathon, which entice you through the mystical “hell” with more trail sections than in previous years. A terrific, strenuous climb to start with: on the first six kilometres you have to overcome 1,000 metres of altitude over the Musikantensteig.
