Forest bathing in Riedenberg
Stop and breathe deeply
Take a bath in the Riedenberg forest! Leave everyday life behind and enjoy the forest, let your soul dangle and take a deep breath of fresh forest air.
A relaxing bath in the forest
"Bathing in the forest", Shinrin-Yoku, is a recognised form of therapy in Japan and is often prescribed. A stay in the forest can have a positive effect on our mood and depression and is good for our cardiovascular system. The terpenes (messenger substances) in the forest air support the immune system.
Breathing, meditating, lingering
Three to four hour hikes are available all year round and can be combined with a snowshoe hike.
Various stations around the stone circle (Steinkreis) and the high moor on the Riedenberg invite you to take a deep breath, meditate or simply linger. Stop in the forest and get in touch with nature and let your breath flow. From the Gasthaus Wastler, follow the signs in the direction of Landl and then in the direction of the Steinkreis.
