Distillery Feichtner - Schwoich

On our estate, we have the distillation rights established by Maria Theresa. Thus, Sepp has made the production of high-quality spirits a great passion alongside music. He has gained his expertise through international seminars, courses, and his many years of distilling experience. Our operation is set amidst a large orchard. In these traditional fruit orchards, our fruit thrives, including the old apple variety "Berner Rose," wild stone fruit known as "Pfraun," and newer, juicy pear cultivars. The soil quality, warm days, and cool autumn nights give our fruits their distinctive and varietal aroma, which defines the character of our spirits. When our fruit reaches the right ripeness, the art of mashing begins. Only the best, clean fruits are processed. The fermentation occurs in a controlled and temperature-regulated manner. When processing stone fruit, care is taken to ensure that the pits remain whole during mashing. Great importance is placed on the gentle distillation of the mash. The clean separation of the heads and tails is a quality criterion that Sepp Feichtner holds dear and always keeps an eye on. Our high-quality spirits are brought to drinking strength with the best Schwoicher spring water and mature in stainless steel or glass containers, where they achieve their perfection in peace. The optimal drinking temperature for our spirits is between 16 to 18 degrees Celsius (room temperature). Distilling spirits is still the good old craft that combines expert knowledge with experience and intuition. With our column still, we produce excellent high-quality spirits with great care and skill, which have already received various awards and recognitions. You are welcome to visit our distillery to be convinced of the quality of our fine drops. Our high-quality spirits can be tasted in the cozy tasting room by the open fireplace. Tours and tastings by appointment.
