Schwarzrieshütte - Erl

Schwarzrieshütte is located to the left, on a rise in the middle of the alm area, of the so-called Trockenbachtal. At 970 m, the Schwarzrieshütte is directly on the Bavarian border, and thus the most northerly mountain hut in Tyrol. There are multiple access options from both the Austrian and Bavarian side, and it is therefore recommended for both family hikes and also more experienced mountain hikers. There are simple paths along forestry and alm roads (including some that are suitable for prams), as well as multi-hour hikes through the surrounding mountain ranges.
