The "Bayrischzeller Route 36" is a cross-country ski run with 36km for classic cross-country skiers and skaters. Along the well-signposted route there are five red boxes with punches. You can punch the "Route 36"-Flyer, which you receive at the tourist information in Bayrischzell or at the Sportalm. After you collected all punches you can get it stamped at there as well. As a reward for your performance you get three sticker with the logo of "Bayrischzeller Route 36". Two for your skiers and one for your car.
- By car: A8 exit Weyarn, via Staatsstraße 2072 and B307 to Bayrischzell.
By train and busl: Trains (Bavarian Oberlandbahn) run every hour from Munich to Bayrischzell. At Bayrischzell take the skibus to the parking area Stocker.
- Via Melkstattwiese the cross-country ski run leads through forests and across meadows to the parking area Stocker (4,2km). From here the track leads into the forest, via Nesseltal and leads back to the underpass Langwies (9,4km). Through the underpass and in the direction of Streinalm and Bäckeralm back to Langwies (12,7km). The track leads into the Kloo-Ascher valley and back to the parking area Stocker (20,4km) and via Melkstatt to bayrischzell (24,6km). The last passage leads along the Leitzach in Bayrischzell (district Geitau) and in a round via Mieseben back to the starting point Sportalm Bayrischzell (36km).
