We experiment with the use of colour and the development of unforeseen compositions, initially working quickly. The motifs can be abstract or contain figurative elements. Jumping into the ‘colourful water’ is crucial here. Less control and more trust in intuition is required.

In the first step, spontaneous impulses are given free rein on paper using mixed media such as acrylic, gouache, pastel or pencil. In a rapid and additive process, exciting colour surfaces and forms are created.

The sketchy results serve as an inspiring guide. For individual motifs, we can then develop strategies for realisation on larger formats in a personal discussion.
