Locherer chapel - Schwoich

During a hike in the forests of Kufstein west of the Inn, it is very likely that you will come across a clearing between the fortress town and the neighboring village where the Locherer Chapel is located. The small chapel is a place of faith, but also a place with history. The water from the spring in front of the chapel is wonderfully refreshing and invigorating. After a leisurely hike of about 20 minutes from Egerbach and around 45 minutes from Kufstein, you will reach the Locherer Chapel, which is situated in a clearing in the forest. Benches invite you to relax amidst nature, in the shade of a chestnut tree.
