Banana lake - Schwoich

Bananensee in Schwoich - a jewel with a great view
The Wilder Kaiser massif rises powerfully in the background. A sunbathing lawn slopes gently into the crystal clear water. The stones on the beach are warm. Unspoilt nature at the biotope bathing lake. Bananensee in Schwoich.

Crystal clear on the edge of the forest
More than 20 years ago, Tyrol's first biotope bathing lake was opened in Schwoich, a village not far from Kufstein. The small lake was fondly named after its shape, which resembles a banana. Fed with drinking quality water, Bananensee offers a unique bathing experience. With a size of 2,300 square meters, Lake Banana in Schwoich is the smallest of the bathing lakes in the Kufsteinerland region. The size and location give the lake a particularly cosy atmosphere.
