Banana Lake in Schwoich - a scenic natural jewel

In summer, for more than 20 years now, the first biotope swimming lake in Tyrol has been opened in Schwoich, a village not far from Kufstein. The small lake was affectionately named after its shape, which resembles a banana. The Banana Lake offers a wonderful, unique swimming experience with excellent water quality. With an area of 2,300 square meters, Schwoich's Banana Lake is the smallest of the swimming lakes in the Kufsteinerland region. The size and location give the lake a particularly cozy atmosphere.
