The festively illuminated ship of Achensee Shipping connects the lovingly designed Advent markets in Pertisau and Achenkirch. During a trip across the lake, guests can enjoy the atmospheric, floating Advent market and regional specialties. The Christmas markets of the region are each an experience in themselves – yet all are united by a love for tradition, music, craftsmanship, and heartfelt atmosphere.

A Story Full of Tradition
The Achensee Shipping has a long and eventful history. Pioneer Albert Wildauer, himself a captain, initiated shipping on Lake Achensee with the construction of a steam-powered ship. The "MS St. Josef," delivered in parts in 1887 and transported by horses to Pertisau, marked the beginning of a success story – and the foundation for the modern fleet that today delights guests from all over the world.
