The local museum "Zur alten Schmiede" in Niederndorf near Kufstein is a panopticon of old, partly forgotten craftsmanship. Wall paintings, a tour through parlors, a look at typical Tyrolean crafts such as blacksmithing, wagon making, farriery, and locksmithing. In the past, there was hammering, crafting, and shaping in glowing heat. The treasures of the past were lovingly collected and exhibited by the Niederndorf family Kaltschmid.
