Local history museum - Niederndorf

The local history museum “Zur alten Schmiede” in Niederndorf bei Kufstein is a panopticon of old, partly forgotten craftsmanship. Wall paintings, a walking tour through parlours, a look at typical Tyrolean craftsmanship, such as blacksmiths, wheelwrights, farriers, locksmiths. It used to be a place where people hammered, worked and shaped in the scorching heat. The treasures of the past have been lovingly collected and exhibited by the Niederndorf Kaltschmid family.
