Udo’s Ice Paradise – Ice Tradition in Kufstein

Udo’s Ice Paradise is a Kufstein tradition and a family business in its fifth generation. The story begins in 1879 in Munich, where the great-great-grandfather sold the first ice cream with a cart. Under the name Sarcletti, the family became known in Munich. In the 1960s, master confectioner Udo Plesner established the business in Kufstein and, together with Silvana Sarcletti Plesner, fully focused on ice cream. Thus, the ice tradition continues today in the fifth generation.

Udo’s Ice Paradise is the only ice cream shop in Kufstein and the surrounding area that still produces ice cream using traditional, original methods from the bakery. This includes regional ingredients such as milk from Weberhäuslhof in Langkampfen and yogurt from the Plangger dairy in Niederndorf. Because everything is handmade, there are always new flavors that you won't find in industrial ice cream. The fruit ice has been made completely without milk since 2019 and is lactose-free.

Enjoy a milkshake or a good ice cream in a cone or a cup. A wide selection of ice cream flavors awaits you. Opening hours depend on the weather. In case of heavy rain, the ice paradise will remain closed. From about mid-October to early March, we take a winter break.
