Obere Steinbergalm - Kufstein

On arrival at Brentenjoch with the Kaiserlift Kufstein, a wonderful view of the Wilder Kaiser opens up. Anyone who’s paying attention can already see Obere Steinbergalm at 1318 m, directly at the foot of the Scheffau Mountains. From the top station, take the forestry road slightly downhill, following the signs, and reach Obere Steinbergalm in around 1.5 hours. It is located on a beautiful high plateau, surrounded by lush Alpine meadows. The alm can be reached either via the Gamskogel circuit or via Kaindlhütte if you turn left directly after the chapel and follow the signs. Treat yourself to a view fit for a Kaiser as well as homemade food and drinks. Relax and enjoy the breath-taking scenery.
