A little museum has been dedicated to the inventor of the sewing machine - Josef Georg Madersperger - in his birthplace in Kufstein in the Kinkstraße. The Madersperger Sewing Machine Museum in Kufstein. An audio-visual presentation tells about the life and work of Josef Georg Madersperger. Initially, only J. Madersberger knew about the usefulness of his machine. No one else was interested in acquiring his invention. So Madersperger donated his first working sewing machine to the Polytechnic Institute in Vienna. Today it is impossible to imagine life without his invention and that is why the people of Kufstein have dedicated a museum to the inventor and his machine.
