Autumn is getting loud – really loud!

For the fourth time, the cultural association Liveheit is bringing its legendary Rocktober Fest to Kufstein, transforming the Kulturfabrik into a vibrant center for carefully selected live music, powerful guitar riffs, and exuberant festival atmosphere.

What started as a small insider tip has long since established itself as a fixed entity in the regional music scene – and in 2025 it will be hot again! Headlining the evening are The Illiterates – and they are currently on a roll. After their acclaimed performance at the Donauinselfest 2025 on the Radio 88.6 Rock stage, where they sent the audience into collective ecstasy with a mix of Tyrolean Volxpunk, biting lyrics, and uncompromising stage energy, their breakthrough on the international stage followed just a few weeks later: six (!) shows at the Full Metal Alm at Wacken Open Air 2025. So anyone who thought the Illiterates were just a local phenomenon has made a big mistake – this band is loud, political, uncomfortable, and ready for the big stages. And that's exactly what makes them the perfect headliner for the Rocktober Fest.

Durcel Haze are not guests at the Rocktober Fest – they are an essential part of the DNA. Anyone who knows the band knows that there are no half measures: sharp riffs, thumping bass, edgy melodies, and lyrics that go straight to the brain. Their sound is a cohesive fusion of modern alternative rock, dark vibes, and anthemic moments that transform into true sound waves live. Durcel Haze manages to combine attitude with hardness and emotion with intensity – and that’s what makes them one of the most exciting bands between underground and headliner potential. And that’s exactly where they belong: on stage, in the spotlight, in front of people.

Fresh wind is brought by StageFright from Switzerland – with a captivating mix of glam rock, hair metal, indie, and post-punk. They deliver a musical fireworks display of vibrant theatricality and driving rock ’n’ roll attitude that is rarely heard. Among makeup, sweat, and stadium choruses, they celebrate excess – loud, passionate, and absolutely stage-ready.
