Alice is a classic power woman: a teacher and the mayor of a community with 400 souls in the heart of Brittany. Always fully engaged, she stands up for her fellow citizens. When the eccentric and somewhat rough Émile suddenly wants to learn to read and write at the age of 65, she is faced with a whole new challenge in her class. But the situation escalates further: after an inspection, the mini-school is threatened with closure, putting the entire village life in serious danger. What to do?
