On February 26, 2026, the internationally acclaimed ensemble Zefiro will perform at the Kultur Quartier Kufstein. Under the title "Ensemble Zefiro plays Mozart", the musicians will dedicate themselves to a repertoire that, like few others, brings the art of wind music in the 18th century to life.
Founded in 1989 by oboists Alfredo Bernardini and Paolo Grazzi, as well as bassoonist Alberto Grazzi, Zefiro is regarded as a reference ensemble for music from the Classical and Baroque periods with wind instrumentation. The members are all renowned artists from significant European Baroque orchestras. Their name is derived from Zephyrus, the gentle god of the west winds in Greek mythology - a symbol of the fine, breathing sound that distinguishes Zefiro.
For over three decades, the ensemble has been heard on the great international stages - from Europe to America to Asia. Their award-winning recordings of works by Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Handel, and Bach have received numerous accolades, including the Grand Prix du Disque, the Diapason d'Or, and the Premio Franco Abbiati. With virtuosity, historical authenticity, and joyful performance, Zefiro captivates both audiences and critics alike.
The concert in Kufstein promises an evening where Mozart's masterpieces will be experienced in all their vibrancy and brilliance - carried by the unmistakable sound of the wind instruments for which Ensemble Zefiro is celebrated worldwide.
Tickets available at the Kufstein Town Hall, TVB Kufsteinerland, at all Ö-Ticket sales points, and online at www.kultur.kufstein.at
