festival hall - Erl

The hall of the Festival House was designed by the Vienna-based architectural firm Delugan Meissl Architects. With its freestanding walls made of acacia wood, the hall itself becomes an instrument. It offers space for 732 spectators and is modeled after an ancient Greek theater. From the outside, its design is inspired by the emblem of the Erler coat of arms, the "Erler Crown of Thorns," harmoniously blending into the landscape alongside the impressive white Passion Playhouse.

Anyone who wishes to experience the Festival House from the inside is warmly invited to attend one of the many events held throughout the year.
