© Fohlenhof EbbsThe Foal Farm Ebbs is the association stud of the Tyrolean Haflinger Horse Breeding Association and was founded in the year 1947. Previously, the stud was the agricultural estate of Wagrain Castle. After the initial purchase of a building, the stud was continuously expanded and developed and today enjoys a worldwide reputation as a Haflinger center. The stud is currently home to some of the best Haflinger mares and stallions in the world. In addition, the training of horse and rider in all equestrian disciplines is of great importance.
Over 100 Tyrolean Haflingers, from mares with foals, to young horses and the famous breeding stallions, await you in several stable buildings. On the 4 hectares of horse pastures with a view of the Kaiser mountains, you can observe the Tyrolean Haflingers in the open area daily. A small children's playground is also available.
The attached museum provides information about the Haflinger and its uses. The Foal Farm Ebbs, the oldest Haflinger stud in the world, is the most significant Haflinger stud and center for international Haflinger breeding.
Of course, you can see the Haflinger in its role as a riding and driving horse in the indoor arenas and various outdoor areas. Even in bad weather, the Foal Farm Ebbs is an ideal destination, as most attractions are covered.
Are you passionate about equestrian sports or just want to give it a try?
