Five large black balls are positioned around the outer circle. A wave of stones then runs harmoniously towards the centre. Black and white stones in harmony. Yin and yang. A place where you can find your centre. Surrounded by Tyrol’s natural landscape. Trees. Bushes. Meadows. The stone circle on the Health Trail in Bad Häring.

Exploring the secret of life

Along the approx. 3 km Health Trail, the various stations offer insight into the secrets of life. Interesting and useful information about nature. Discover the inner structure of Tai Chi. Explore water as a source of life and health. Refine your sensory perception. Feel grounded as you walk along the bare foot course. During the 1.5 hour walk, the trail leads past the Haslacher Moor – a treasure of the landscape. Interesting facts about the effects of moor baths, Kneipp hydrotherapy treatments and the sulphurous waters for which Bad Häring is famous.

How it all began

It was a pit fire which changed the history of Bad Häring significantly during the 19th century. A catastrophe for the mountain people but a blessing for the village. During the course of the pit fire, the first sulphur spring in the current spa resort was discovered. One of the most soothing in the Alpine region as we know it today. The former mining village was named as Tyrol’s first health spa resort in 1996. The aim of the village is to promote good health. The Health Trail was established in this context. The circular trail starts out in the church square and runs past the Hotel Thaler towards the sports ground and the Lindbühl cross. From here, it runs over the Haslach Moor towards the centre of the spa resort.
