Genuss rund um den Pölven - Schwoich

This Culinary Hike takes you to the district of Kufstein, around the Pölven, a forest and craggy hump between the Wilder Kaiser and the western Kitzbühel Alps. Hiking guide Tobias and beer sommelier Victoria start this culinary round hike of the extra class at the Bierol brewery in the mountain village of Schwoich. From there it goes once around the local mountain, the Pölven in an informative and entertaining day trip. On this hike you will experience highlights that are partly unknown even to locals. On the first part of the stage in the direction of Bad Häring you will pass the picturesquely situated Häringer waterfall. The route then takes you along part of the coal theme trail about the history-rich mining industry in Bad Häring, including a highlight of the tour, the "Burning Mountain". Past the idyllic Lengau Chapel, after a short stop for a snack, the route continues to the Oberkollerhof show distillery, which is housed in an over 800-year-old heritage farm in Söll. Here, a distillery tour including tasting of the house-distilled schnapps awaits you. Via the forest nature trail Söll it goes then again slowly back towards Schwoich, where a tasting menu in the Bierol Taproom including suitable beer accompaniment awaits you. The perfect culinary ending to a successful day of hiking!
