THE ART OF SOLO mit Tukico (JAP) + Christina Ruf (A)
Hoshiko Yamane is a classically trained, Berlin-based, Japanese violinist and composer. She is currently a member of the cult German electronic band Tangerine Dream. Yamane has released several solo albums and to date along with a larger number of recordings of her diverse artistic collaborations with other artists on a variety of different labels. She has also composed music for various artistic endeavors/projects in the areas of: Dance Performance, Installation Art and Film. As a solo artist Tukico released her first EP "become" on Hush Hush Records (USA) in early 2020 and her solo album "Primitive" on Subcontinental Records (India) in fall 2020. She plays the electric violin with effects and synthesizer. Christina Ruf is a cellist who combines her string instrument with electronics. The artist manages to draw impressive pictures with her music and to create an atmosphere that absorbs you as a listener and really inhales you, so that you find yourself in the middle of her sound creations and worlds and not only hear, but feel. The music is like a force of nature, it stirs up and creates peace at the same time.
