Stermann & Grissemann: Gags, Gags, Gags!
The Stermann & Grissemann universe of fine insults, sabotage of meaning and self-demontage, nonsense, bizarre parody, persiflage and polemics allows itself a new, undreamt-of expansion.
As usual, the two, who are "actually too good for television" (John Cleese), run through the self-imposed gag slalom in a first-class manner.
But both, including the German (Stermann), never get lost in cabaret resentment or bored with boring social democratic punch lines.
Not a second with Stermann and Grissemann is a waste of time.
"A climax of Central European humour artistry"
(Sir Peter Ustinov, while still alive)
"The worst is not"
"For those who have little to do with the sometimes brute duo, this is probably nothing. Everyone else has a big evening ahead of them."
