Klazz Brothers & Cuba Percussion

This evening will be a firework of sounds! 20 years Kulturverein Wunderlich. 20 years Klazz Brothers & Cuba Percussion. 250 years of Beethoven. Three good reasons to celebrate this evening with hot rhythms.

In the year 2000 the Klazz Brothers met Cuban percussionists on a Cuba tour. In a spontaneous session they found their common musical language. Since then they have lovingly dressed well-known classical pieces in Afro-Cuban costumes. They arrange works by Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart and Tchaikovsky into Latin catchy tunes that inspire dancing. They respect the composer's idea and treat the original with great respect, but also with their love for Cuban sounds and jazz.

With Afrolise (For Elise) and Salsa No. 5 (1st movement of the Fate Symphony), the birthday of Ludwig van Beethoven 250 years ago is duly celebrated. For the anniversary year they have rearranged further pieces by Ludwig van Beethoven: Cha-Cha-Cha, Bolero, Merengue, Changui or Danzon merge with Beethoven's work to create a unique, new and unheard-of musical language. Van Beethoven would probably be thrilled!
