I am from Austria - Europe's biggest Austro-Pop-Show

I am from Austria - Europe's biggest Austro-Pop-Show

When cheering spectators jump up from their seats and sing along with STS' "Fürstenfeld", stretch their arms in the sky at Ambros' "Skifoan" or know every line of Fendrich's "Macho Macho" by heart, they are probably in one of the sold-out concerts of "I am from Austria", the biggest Austro-Pop-Show in Europe.

In this stirring revue, Austrian pop celebrates its brilliant comeback: as a big party with an "overdose of G'feel", which can still be felt in the last row thanks to the most elaborate technique. With a lot of humour, joy of playing and authenticity the musicians of "I am from Austria" ignite a hit firework on stage, which has written international history for 50 years. And once again shows what brilliant songwriters and artists Austro-Pop has produced over the years. "Da bin i her, da gehör i hin! - I am from Austria!"

The fun and touching musical journey leads through the inexhaustible hit repertoire of Austro-Pop with classics like "Grandfather" by STS, "White Horses" by Georg Danzer or "Weilst a Herz haben wia a Bergwerk" by Rainhard Fendrich. The quieter songs beyond the chart breakers regularly give you goose bumps, among others Karl Preyer's "Romeo and Juliet", Ostbahnkurtis "Feuer", Hubert von Goisern's "Weit weit weg" or "Flying High" from Opus. The audience loves this show above all also because of the well thought out mixture of selected milestones of Austrian music history! And because it would blow up the evening to play them all, some of these hits were packed into cleverly arranged medleys.

Since its first concert in December 2013, the show "I am from Austria" has shown that the love for Austro-Pop is unbroken in Germany as well: well over 30,000 visitors have been carried away by the hit fireworks since then. The show, consisting of six Bavarian thoroughbred musicians, has fans far beyond southern Germany. www.i-am-from-austria.com
