It all starts with a rant posted on Facebook. Standing in his pigsty, Christian Bachler, operator of the highest farm in Styria, rages at the "arrogant head bobo" Florian Klenk. The "Falter" editor-in-chief had previously advocated sentencing a farmer to pay compensation after a woman did not survive a confrontation with one of the farmer's cows. Klenk actually complies with Bachler's smug request to complete an internship on his farm. Through numerous conversations, a close friendship develops between the former adversaries. When Bachler's farm was finally on the brink of ruin, the two friends mobilized thousands of donors within a very short space of time.

Two worlds collide with force, charm and acumen in the form of "Bauer und Bobo".
