Edom is the band project of US guitarist Eyal Maoz, who already wowed audiences in Kufstein in 2018 with his congenial fellow musicians Brian Marsella (keyboards), Shanir Ezra Blumenkranz (bass) and Yuval Lion (drums).
Edom takes us to the all too rarely visited intersection of instrumental pop, jazz and avant-garde, a unique synthesis of Jewish music, new wave, electronic and disco: Press: ‘Maoz's fearsome foursome revels in Middle Eastern modes and melodies ... and then merges, just as naturally, with sweet melodic melancholy and intoxicating and bloody downtown noise ...
