Alexander Huber 'The steep world of the mountains'

Alexander Huber moves in border areas of the vertical world, in the eleventh degree of alpine walls as well as on the great mountains of the world. The extreme climber draws a vivid picture of modern alpinism, shows extreme free climbing in the Alps as well as in the cold of the Arctic and challenges on wild mountains of Pakistan. The incredible images, arranged with fascinating film sequences and steep music are an experience of a special kind.

Those who are believed dead live longer. When alpinism was buried at the end of the 80s because it seemed that every peak had already been climbed, the new generation of creative climbers was left out of the equation. Because in alpinism, as the Huber brothers understand it, the path is the goal. This path leads over ridges and difficult walls and is to be mastered sometimes extremely fast and sometimes under extreme conditions. Climbing at the eleventh degree - that is sport with high physical and mental stress. The most difficult climbing sections of such routes require a keen sense of the correct movement on the rock and enormous strength potential. It is from "how" the climber masters this challenge that the excitement in Alexander Huber's presentation arises. The younger of the two "Huberbuam" puts the steep mountain world in a new light. He shows his most beautiful and also most formative moments, which arise from an interplay of creativity and discipline, from common goals and deliberate solo efforts.
