Abokonzert 'France, mon amour'

An evening dedicated to W.A. Mozart and Camille Saint-Saëns.


Since its beginnings, the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra (SKO) has developed an unmistakable sound culture. With chief conductor Thomas Zehetmair, the musicians follow the vision of preserving tradition and at the same time setting tonal and programmatic standards for the future. As a musical ambassador for its home city, the SKO inspires audiences all over the world. Thomas Zehetmair has been at the helm of the SKO's musical fortunes since the 2019/2020 season. As Chief Conductor, he gives the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra new impetus in the interpretation of its wide-ranging repertoire. He is active as a conductor worldwide. The German-Hungarian flautist Johanna Dömötör studied in Budapest and Stuttgart and has often won first prize at top-class competitions. At the age of 24, she became principal flute of the Basel Symphony Orchestra and two years later moved to Linz as a professor at the Anton Bruckner Private University.
