16:30 - AnJa Thaler - Unterer Stadtplatz - public concert, free admission
AnJA Thaler is a singer, composer, keyboarder and accordionist and plays pop songs with German lyrics. Anja Thaler's music is the play with contradiction, the drawing of change, the fingers in the wound and departure - always departure. And when one spends one's childhood in the last moves of a decaying GDR and with several moves from East to West to South, that is probably the logical consequence. "Departure and change are pure life and one of the greatest gifts - the most enchanting elation hides in the deepest pain, if you like. I bring this fascination of connections into my songs." So Anja about her music But before she becomes a songwriter, she faces no less contradictory stations: from musical performer to rock tube to sensitive, unruly musician. AnJA Thaler released her 1st solo album in 2019, produced by Andi Baum.
