TRI-X-Triathlon Kufstein
A challenge for all athletes along the green Inn river
Swimming. Cycling. Running. A day in the in the Kufstein fortress town, with everything centred around the triathlon. Sporting endeavours along the much-extolled green Inn River. A sports events with prospects. From the lap pool of the Kufstein outdoor swimming pool, participants will hit the Innpromenade on 1. Mai. The starting signal for the 2020 triathlon season with the prologue "ASVÖ Children's Triathlon Training 2020". At the 5th Tri-X-Triathlon the Tyrolean Championships will take place over the Supersprintdistance from U23.
Starting signal in the outdoor pool
The Tri-X-Triathlon is held for the 5th time in 2020 and has already become a fixture on many race calendars as preparation for the season. Five pupils' classes and one youth class make up the prologue in the morning, followed by the juniors and the individual age classes in the afternoon.
The event starts at 9:45 with pupils' class A with 400 metres swimming, 9080 metres cycling and 3000 metres running. All classes will complete the swimming distances in the Kufstein outdoor pool. From there, participants head into the transition area of the Kufstein Arena ice zone. The cycling route leads directly along the Inn River and back to the transition area in a loop. Depending on the class, the route measures between 500 and up to 21,650 metres. Up to children's class C, races are contested on mountain bikes, from class B the pupils start on racing cycles. The subsequent running route again leads along the Inn River. For juniors, all age classes and the relay via Endach indirection of Langkampfen. The route distance spans from 300 metres for pupils' class E all the way to 5000 metres from the juniors. The finish area of the TRI-X-Triathlons is located on Otto-Lasne-Straße between the swimming pool and transition zone for all classes. The victory ceremony for the morning competitions is held at 12:30, the one for the afternoon competitions at around 15:45.

The exact route maps and starting times can be found on the organiser's homepage on www.tri-x-kufstein.at. Registration for the triathlon is possible online at www.raceresult.at. Closing date for entries is Thursday 29 April 2020. Payment must be received by 29 April. Late registrations are possible on the day of the race until including one hour before the start of the competition subject to a late registration fee. All participants will receive a starter kit. Catering is provided for in form of a local club selling coffee and cake.
