For the prologue in May the focus is on young and new folk music. Kufstein is the centre of the Tyrolean folk music scene, which is why it makes sense to finally dedicate a musical focus to this fact. We think the genre is the perfect start for the Kufstein Music Festival, as this musical style is currently very popular all over the country, especially with a younger audience.

Festival pros in the organisation team

For the Kufstein Music Festival an expert team of various professionals named Audite Nova came together. The group has already proven multiple times that they have plenty of experience with folk music in general and also with festivals. As well as the team from Monta-Music, who amongst other things organise the Brass Wiesen in Munich, the Audite Nova team also includes the long-standing managers of Cuba Boarischen Peter Rutz and Dieter Bös. In addition to professional organisers, a festival of this size also needs strong supporters. On board as partners for the Kufstein Music Festival are Auerbräu from Rosenheim, TVB Kufsteinerland, Kufstein municipality, Sparkasse Kufstein and Top-City-Kufstein.
