Verena Altenberger & Juttakleinschmidt
The opulent stage of the Festspielhaus Erl is transformed into the intimate setting for a conversation that creates space for truly meaningful encounters. At the intersection of culture, sport and science, actress Verena Altenberger and physicist and Dakar Rally winner Jutta Kleinschmidt will explore happiness.
Visitors can look forward to witnessing a conversation that does not shy away from exploring the entire spectrum of successes and failures, profound influences and groundbreaking decisions. Hosted with proven subtlety by Klaus Reitberger, accompanied by singer Mili Poblete in the brightest of tones and framed with exquisite delicacies from our region, this autumn evening is a sparkling gem that allows the most colorful facets of happiness to shine promisingly.
Verena AltenbergerVerena Altenberger is probably one of the most dazzling personalities on the German-speaking cultural scene. Whether as a heroin-addicted mother in the drama “The Best of All Worlds”, as a buzz-cut bogeywoman in Salzburg's “Jedermann” or as Robert Musil in the cult series “Kafka” - the Salzburg-born actress' multifaceted acting always impresses with an extraordinary degree of immediacy, intensity and depth. At the age of 18, Altenberger was rejected from the renowned Vienna Reinhardt Seminar - in the meantime, she has not only become an integral part of the Austrian stage and film landscape, but also President of the “Academy of Austrian Film” and an ambassador for the United Nations World Food Program. With irresistible ease and sparkling acumen, she now exclusively opens up a perspective on happiness characterized by courage, joie de vivre and solidarity on the stage of the Festspielhaus.
Jutta KleinschmidtJutta Kleinschmidt, a racing driver, physicist and author, is undoubtedly one of the world's most successful characters in motorsport. To date, she is the only woman to have won the world's toughest rally, the Dakar Rally, in the overall car classification. Extremes are also Kleinschmidt's passion off the track: she is training to become a helicopter pilot, teaches what it takes to survive in the desert in her “Desert Academy” and is an inspiring international speaker. She is also a spirited and scientifically sound advocate of environmentally friendly technologies in motorsport. She is driven by her carefully cultivated ability to turn setbacks and crises into opportunities. On our glück.tag in October, Jutta Kleinschmidt will provide fascinating insights into her personal path to happiness, which she pursues with perseverance, ambition and creativity despite numerous obstacles.
