Course instructor: Willemijn Oberhauser, certified children's yoga teacher Children's yoga is a mixture of movement, fun, and mindfulness. Even at a young age, you can playfully strengthen your self-confidence, concentration, and immune system, learn about your body awareness, and express your feelings. The focus is on having fun. In each class, we cover a topic such as sleeping well, letting go, self-confidence, the elements, or friendship. Based on this topic, we do yoga poses, breathing exercises, meditation, and visualization. We use play and go on an imaginary journey (meditation) together. The class itself is always packaged in an appealing concept (jungle, circus, zoo, birthday party, etc.). The class is led by Willemijn Oberhauser. For her, teaching children's yoga is a way to support not only her own child, but also other children during the challenging time of growing up.
