TRIBUTE BAND TIROL “60 Years of Rubber Soul & Revolver” (Beatles)
It's that time again! After huge successes such as Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Abbey Road, and The Dark Side of the Moon, the Tribute Band Tirol is getting together once more to pay tribute to the musical history of the 1960s. After missing out on the 50th anniversary of Wish You Were Here in 2025, these exceptional musicians from all corners of Tyrol are expanding their radius and celebrating the first 60s. In 1966, the album Revolver was presented to an international audience, and in 2026 it will be performed for the first time to a select group of recipients. Finally, you can despise the Taxman, mourn Eleanor Rigby, and feel like you're in the Yellow Submarine, where we all live, as we all know. And that's not all: if you say Revolver, you also have to say Rubber Soul. Although the predecessor album, also recorded at the historic Abbey Road Studios, was released in 1965, firstly, the two albums belong inseparably together, and secondly, why the hell be stingy? Michelle is cordially invited, as is every Nowhere Man, of course. We can't think of a stupid saying for Norwegian Wood, but it is one of the most beautiful songs in the world. At least of those I've heard in my life. So here's what you get: 28 timeless classics from the world's most famous band, who never even played these songs live themselves, each of them at least 60 years old, played by a handful of Tyrolean rascals who have been listening to both albums over and over again since they were kids. And it's a one-time thing. After that, it's gone. You Won't See Me, and best of all: it won't even ruin the evening for non-Beatles fans. So come by before it's too late. Tomorrow Never Knows!
Tickets starting at €30 (plus possible advance booking fees) are available at Kufsteiner Musikhaus, TVB Kufstein, and online at popkultur.at and ntry.at/tributebandtirol2026
