Night of the 1.000 Lights
The Night of 1000 Lights is an event held on the eve of All Saints' Day and offers an alternative to Halloween. On the evening of 31 October, thousands of lights shine in many parishes to get us in the mood for All Saints' Day. In the parish of Zell, this year's Night of 1000 Lights is themed around ‘hope’. At various stations, visitors are invited to reflect on ‘hope’ in different ways in a soothing atmosphere by candlelight. Drinks and soup are offered in the parish square for a cosy get-together.
