'Oh How Beautiful is Panama - The Musical to the Motion Picture' - JANOSCH
For the Week of Stage Arts, the Wunderlich cultural association ventures into new territory - and remains true to its values of cultural diversity. With lots of music, the musical "Oh How Beautiful is Panama" takes up the story of the journey of the little bear and the little tiger from Janosch's 1978 book. It tells of their longing for the unknown Panama, of friendship, happiness and home and shows with this incredible journey of the two joy, what matters in real life.
The story begins at the river where the little bear and the little tiger live. One day, a banana box drifts by, smelling delicious and with a sign saying where it comes from: from "Pa-na-ma". This land becomes the land of dreams for the two. And they set off to search for Panama. When, after many adventures, they finally believe they have found the land of their dreams, they are back where they have always lived.
The musical is based on the 2006 animated film of the same name and invites young and old adventurers to join in the fun. For all children from 4-99 years.
