End of school in Kufstein: folkshilfe celebrates togetherness at the start of the summer holidaysThe song "Hau di her" could not fit better to celebrate the end of school. On Friday, July 7, 2023, folkshilfe will come to Kufstein as one of Austria's best live bands during their biggest tour through Austria and Germany.
folkshilfe have been part of the inventory of the German-language music landscape for years and with their hits "Mir laungts", "Seit a poa Tog" and "Simone" their unmistakable style is known even in the remotest corners. With the current hit single "Hau di her", it is above all togetherness that is celebrated.
Quetschn-Synthi-Pop inspires every audienceWith unusual instruments with a fat bass, folkshilfe, that's Paul Slaiczek, Gabriel Fröhlich and Florian Ritt, make every audience dance. Different styles from hip hop, pop and techno paired with Upper Austrian dialect vocals and the synthesizer of the harmonica make folkshilfe extraordinary. The interplay between squeeze synth, guitar and drums as well as the polyphonic vocals create folkshilfe's distinctive sound. Their fat bass is due to the revolutionary connection between quetschn and synthesizer. Their music does well without scene attribution and captivates a colorful audience, no matter on which stage.
From street music to the Eurovision Song Contest to the crowning achievement of winning the Amadeus Music Award as Songwriter of the Year - the band has made it onto the line-up of numerous renowned festivals and will also rock the open-air arena at the Festung in Kufstein.
Afterwards, there will be plenty of dancing in the best festive mood at the Silent Disco After Party. Choose a channel and off you go: House, electro, current charts or oldies. The party mood starts with the distribution of wireless headphones. Two DJs play their tracks simultaneously on two different channels, which the partygoers can choose between according to their mood. Thus, the fortress arena is transformed into a large outdoor stage.
