The Julia Malischnig Project is entirely dedicated to the festival motto ¡ALEGRÍA! The guitarist and singer surprises with an opulent musical and choreographic synthesis of the arts and a sensational line-up of international and national musicians and dancers. The recognised artist Harald Schreiber will also bring visual art to the stage and design the spectacular stage set. At the opening of the concert, the internationally award-winning ten-minute short film ANGELS NOVUS RELOADED by Robert Hofferer will be presented.

¡ALEGRÍA! tells of joy, fire, passion, profound feelings and a relentless urge for freedom. Passionate, intoxicating and touching, it offers fascinating reflections of the soul that invite you to marvel, linger, savour and dance. A concert event with five top-class musicians and three internationally acclaimed dancers that celebrates the abundance and diversity of sound colours and emotions as a hymn to life.
