Kufsteinerland has up to seven lovingly planted herb gardens, with hundreds of different plant and herb species. Each herb garden is set up with a theme, whether it's European Ayurveda or the spiral of life. The goal is to give visitors an understanding of the diversity of local herbs and plants that are typical to the region. Old vases, watering cans, jugs and tools provide loving details in all the gardens. They are little patches of paradise, which form a bridge between nature and health. Feel the power of the earth.

Herb workshops & seminars

Learn more from trained experts. In workshops and seminars, phytotherapists and herb experts explain the effects of the individual plants in food and cosmetics. Tastings are permitted. Some of the guided herb tours include cooking, tasting, producing creams and making herbal chocolate. The perfect excursion for groups, families and everyone who's interested in herbs.

A lovingly arranged herb garden on a hillside above Langkampfen. The large herb garden, arranged by Christiane Wurzrainer and her sister, is a true paradise for fans of plants and herbs. It's not only the variety of different plants that makes the garden a natural spectacle; it's also the loving details that you find between the plants.

Thiersee Valley herbal world

The herb garden of phytotherapist Christiane Kirchmair is lovingly planted at the edge of the forest in Hinterthiersee. It was a long-awaited dream of hers to plant her own herb garden. With over 120 different herbs, it is a living space of healing, and builds a bridge between people and nature.
