Obere Steinbergalm - Kufstein

With the Kaiserlift Kufstein reaching the Brentenjoch, a magnificent view opens up towards the Wilder Kaiser. Those who pay close attention can spot the Obere Steinbergalm at 1318 m from afar, located right at the foot of the Scheffauer. From the mountain station, follow the forest path moderately downhill according to the signs, and in about 1.5 hours, you will reach the Obere Steinbergalm. It is situated on a beautiful plateau surrounded by lush alpine meadows. The hut can be reached either via the Gamskogel circular trail or by following the signpost after the Kaindlhütte, just left after the chapel. Here, you can indulge in homemade dishes and drinks while enjoying an imperial view. Convince yourself of the stunning backdrop and let your soul truly unwind.
