The Christmas market in the city park of Kufstein … in the heart of the town and located in a fabulous park, central and quiet still idyllic between trees. You find yourself between lovely decorated trees, reindeers, Christmas angels at every corner .. a Christmas oasis with tasty Tyrolean delicacies, Tyrolean handicrafts, daily live programme and a very special children’s programme.

The eyes of the small visitors are shining while driving the railway or jumping onto the merry-go-round. A ride-out on ponies, a building corner and barbecue let the children’s dreams come true. Christmas stories, fairy tales and the story teller „Bergflunkerer“ shorten the waiting time for Christmas.

The Christmas market in the city park Kufstein is open Saturdays/Sundays and holidays from 2 pm until 8 pm, all other days from 3 pm until 8 pm.

A Christmas market which is spoiling visitors of all ages and gets you in the mood for Christmas.

In the so-called Kasematten, a sentimental ancient masonry, you will find pure Christmas atmosphere. With the help of enchanting small stands, diverse lectures, representations and much more. It is really getting festive when it starts to get dark and the you can hear traditional Christmas music coming live from the walls of the fortress.

The so-called Christmas magic on the fortress of Kufstein is open on the mentioned days daily from 11 am until 6 pm, the fortress itself from 10 am until 6 pm.

The following entries and lifts to reach the Christmas magic on the fortress of Kufstein are open as follows:

• entry fortress Kufstein / fortress courtyard (town centre, vicinity of community office, next to parish church St. Vitus) – fortress cashier, bottom station panorama cable car „Kaiser Maximilian“ or entry footpath via the so-called roofed staircase to the fortress Kufstein. 10 am until 6 pm (descent possible until 6.30 pm)
• entry bottom station fortress lift (historic town centre, at the end of the Römerhofgasse), 10 am until 6 pm (descent possible until 6.30 pm)
• ascent Kaiserjäger trail / footpath (close to police station) / fortress pharmacy, across gas station DISK, 11 am until 6 pm

The whole town centre is transformed into a party location - here new year’s eve is celebrated one day ahead with great live bands, show programme and huge fireworks above the fortress.
