The board vibrates. Constantly. Slowly take off. The springs tighten, causing the wooden board to vibrate even more. Two, three steps. You’ve reached the saving tree trunk. A short breathing spell. Carefully your foot again touches the vibrating wooden plate. The chains holding it fast give off a rattling sound, beginning to swing back and forth. Hands out. Bend your knees slightly. Balance yourself. The Kufstein motor skills park.

From the swinging bridge to the rock-throw arena

Coordination. Balance. Power. Fitness. Activate all muscle groups. Pleasure in movement. Diverse. Strenuous. Tyrol’s first motor skills park in the near-natural fortress town has it all. 18 stations with 33 creative exercises, set up by Olympic champion, Dr. Roland Werthner. A free outdoor activity paradise for children and adults, designed by athletes. The exercises are designed so that anyone can master them. The more athletic the person, the more intensive the exercises. From the water-ski walking-wall, to climbing challenges on ropes, to the balancing “cloud.” It is fun to move through the idyllic location at the forest edge, around the Kufstein water facility, out to the end of Mitterndorf Street. With the motor skills park, Kufstein is bringing nature a bit close into the town – aching muscles included.
