Tyrol's Jakobsweg path

Find yourself

One step after another. Give your thoughts free rein. Peace. Tranquillity. Pause in the moment. Only the Tyrol mountains in Kufsteinerland all around. Panoramic views. Foresight. Insights into yourself. Tyrol's Jakobsweg path through Kufsteinerland.

On old paths

The Jakobsweg path is one of the internationally best known pilgrimage paths in the world. In medieval times Tyrol was an important segment. Numerous chapels and churches, Innsbruck's St. Jakob Cathedral and the larger than life pilgrimage statue which is located just as you come into Innsbruck, are evidence of the centuries' old history of this path which proceeds through Tyrol. The town's coat of arms is adorned with a scallop shell. Weathered milestones. Over all the years this route has been able to retain its originality and its intrinsic meaning. Tyrol's natural landscape. Majestic mountain peaks. Themed paths. A setting where you get to take stock. The Jakobsweg path leads from Rosenheim to Kufstein, through the Inntal valley heading west, up to the Arlberg.
