The Forest, game and bee adventure trail along the Wachtlrunde has 10 stations providing information about the diversity of life in the forest. How many different types of trees are there in a forest? How important is this habitat for animals and plants? These and other questions are answered on the boards. Experience the fascinating world of bee colonies, and learn interesting, informative and fun facts about the life of a honey bee, bee-keeping, the use of honey in natural medicine, native forests and our local wildlife.
The trail can be explored alone or with experienced bee-keepers to guide you and provide additional information. A trip to the Tyrolean bee alm afterwards is a great idea for anyone who would like to purchase honey products – from honey to honey gum.
