Starting the tour at the valley station Kaiserlift Kufstein is recommended. You can either take the lift up to the summit station Brentenjoch (need to change half way) which takes about half an hour or you can hike all the way up through forests and meadows which takes 2 hours longer. From Brentenjoch you follow the forest road for about 15min, before you take an easy steep path to Gamskogel (1h). Arrived at the top you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Kaiser valley, the Stripsenjoch and the Kaiser mountains. From Gamskogel, the descending path in the direction of Bettlersteig leads us through free terrain and then through forest.
Afterwards across alp meadows to a fork in the path, where we follow the Bettlersteig in the direction of Kaiser valley. The route is rich in variety and off the usual, much-used tracks you can become one with the nature (about 2h). We arrive the alpine cabin Hinterbärenbad-Anton Karg Haus and from there to the end of the valley and via serpentines in the direction of Stripsenjoch. After about 1 hour we reach our destination. For the descent we can either take a shoter route via Grissenau valley and take a taxi back to Kufstein or we can follow the path along the Kaiser valley back to Kufstein (about 2 1/2h)
