Once we arrive at the high plateau a wonderful view of the Wilder Kaiser opens up. Steinbergalm is located directly under the Scheffauer. The starting point is the top station of the historical Kaiserlift Kufstein. From there you follow the forestry road slightly downhill, continuing on a wide arc down to the alm in 1.5 hours. It is located in a mountain pasture valley with a number of huts and a shingle-roofed chapel. The speciality of the house is a special summery drink, the homemade "Hollerpunsch" made from elder flower, mineral water, lemon, vinegar and a little yeast. Or simply enjoy a glass of fresh milk – directly from the cool container. It tastes delicious and is a real treat. The cows don't get any silage, only concentrated feed and hay. You can taste the difference.
