Bavaria Filmstadt - Geiselgasteig
For more than 40 years, visitors to Bavaria Filmstadt near Munich have been able to take a look behind the scenes of sensational filming during the approximately 90-minute guided tour. Here you can see, among other things, the original classroom from the "Fack ju Göhte" trilogy or the locomotive Emma from "Jim Knopf and Lukas the Locomotive Driver". For the international film production "Die Zauberflöte" ("The Magic Flute"), the professionals from the Bavaria Art Department built magical backdrops that can be seen exclusively in the Filmstadt prior to the movie's release. Those who would like to be a film star themselves can test their talent in front of the camera at hands-on attractions: e.g. in the visual effects studio. In the 4D cinema, the Filmstadt presents an enjoyable new film. "Mogli's Jungle Adventure."
