CONCERT: New Year's Eve Concert

"Come with me to Varasdin" ... and to Paris, Vienna, Chicago and Arizona! In the New Year's Eve concert, the Hungarian master of operetta, Emmerich Kálmán, takes you to near and distant worlds - familiar and new things to discover, songs, Arias and ensembles from classics such as "Countess Mariza" and "The Princess of Csárdásf" and lesser known or even unjustly forgotten works such as "The Bayadere", "The Duchess of Chicago", the Romantic musical "Marinka" or Kálmán's last posthumously premiered operetta "Arizona Lady". Under the baton of young star Alexander Prior, Principal Conductor of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and just 26 years old, the Orchestra of the Tyrolean Festival Erl will be performing an almost international magic of sound at the end of the year: from the Orient to the Wild West, from the Viennese Waltz to the Chicago Shimmy. But wherever Emmerich Kálmán takes his operettas - in the end the Hungarian soul of the composer always breaks new ground, and whether in Paris, Vienna or Arizona, in the end it says: "Joj, Mamám, Bruderherz, I'll buy the world!
