Foal yard - Ebbs

Fohlenhof Ebbs is the association stud of the Haflinger Horse Breeding Association Tyrol and was founded in 1947. Previously, the stud was the farm of Wagrain Castle. After the purchase of one building for the time being, the stud was continuously expanded and extended and today has a world-wide reputation as a Haflinger center. With some of the best Haflinger mares and stallions in the world, the stud is the center of attention today. In addition, the training of horse and man in all equestrian sports is of great importance.

Over 100 Tyrolean Haflingers, from mares with foals, to young horses and the famous breeding stallions await you in several stable buildings. On the 4 hectare horse paddocks with a panoramic view of the Kaiser, you can watch the Tyrolean Haflingers every day in the open air. There is also a small children's playground.

The attached museum provides information about the Haflinger and its use. The Fohlenhof Ebbs, the oldest Haflinger stud farm in the world, is the most important Haflinger stud farm and center of international Haflinger breeding.

Of course, you can see the Haflinger in its use as a riding and driving horse in the halls and various outdoor arenas. Even in bad weather the Fohlenhof Ebbs is an ideal destination, because most of the attractions are roofed.

Are you a horse riding enthusiast or do you just want to try it?
Whether riding lessons for beginners or advanced riders, riders at Fohlenhof can expect 2 modern riding halls and with the Fohlenhof Arena an additional modern outdoor riding arena as well as great riding opportunities with the unique panorama of the Zahmen Kaiser. In addition, intensive riding courses are also offered weekly in summer. These last from Tuesday to Saturday.

Children's vaulting, carriage rides or driving lessons round off our overall offer.
