Alpengasthof Aschinger-Alm 1.000 m
The Alpengasthof Aschinger Alm is a harmonious building that perfectly blends into the beautiful surrounding alm landscape, and offers space for approx. 140 guests in three lounges, each of which has a tiled stove and is decorated with cosy old wood. If you're hungry, the Aschinger Alm kitchen offers plenty of Alpine treats: filled cheese ravioli, beef, game from local hunting, or delicacies made of venison, chamois meat and rabbit. Even a simple snack here is something special. It consists primarily of uniquely delicious cheese varieties that are made on the alm. The host Gerhard is a passionate alm farmer, and hand makes the cheese specialities. As well as butter and cream cheese he also makes Tilsiter, mountain cheese and Emmentaler. The main lounge has an open fire and a small bar, and there is a staircase with slide into the cellar. Little ones are also well looked after, as on rainy days there is a play room in the cellar, or on fine days they can play on the large playground.
